Picton boat burglaries denied

Court House-general2A Lyttelton man accused of a series of Picton boat burglaries has entered not guilty pleas to all charges.

Forty-two-year-old Sean Patrick Clark denies nine charges of burglary, two of theft, unlawfully carrying a firearm, theft of a vehicle, and receiving stolen property.

His defence counsel David Goldwater entered the not guilty pleas for him at an application in the Christchurch District Court for Clark’s release on electronically monitored bail to live at his mother’s home on the Kapiti Coast, Wellington.

Judge Tony Couch heard the application and then declined to release Clark and remanded him in custody for a case review hearing on September 2.
