Police found a list of customers when they made a synthetic cannabis raid on a Yaldhurst Road house.

One of the three people who allegedly lived at the house, Martin Alexander Harris, 38, has pleaded guilty in the Christchurch District Court today to a charge of possession of a non-approved psychoactive substance with intent to sell it.

Judge Tom Gilbert remanded Harris in custody for sentencing on October 31.

A pre-sentence report had already been ordered for that day on six other charges that Harris had admitted earlier.

He will face sentencing for possessing synthetic cannabis for sale, unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition, theft, threatening, and failing to come to court twice while on bail.

Police said they raided a property in Yaldhurst Road at 7.50am on August 2.

In the main bedroom, they found nine small plastic bags each containing 8.15g of synthetic cannabis. Throughout the house, they found more of the plastic bags, a list of customers, and a set of electronic scales.

On two cell phones in the main bedroom were text messages indicating the supply of synthetic cannabis for payment.

Police are seeking an order for the destruction of the synthetic cannabis, smoking utensils, plastic bags, a frying pan used to consume the drugs, and the documention involved in the sale and supply of the drugs.

The two other people who allegedly lived at the property have pleaded not guilty and been remanded on bail for a case review hearing – the next step on the way to trial – in November.
