Woolston pharmacy robbed at knifepoint

Christchurch police are investigating a knife-point robbery at a pharmacy on Ferry Road, Woolston.

The incident happened at 10.12am on Friday September 29, when a man entered the store carrying a knife and fled after taking items from the store.

He left in a vehicle described as a green station wagon, towards Hargood Street from the Portman Street intersection.

He was carrying a knife but police said no-one was injured in the incident. They said those at the store were receiving support.

Police ask anyone with any information on the incident to contact Christchurch Central Police Station on 363-7400.
