Murder arrest after Redwood death
A 24-year-old man is expected to appear in the Christchurch District Court this afternoon charged with murder after an overnight incident at a Redwood house.
Police launched the homicide inquiry after another man was fatally wounded overnight. They were called to the address at 2am and the 24-year-old was arrested at the scene.
Police are not seeking anyone else in relation to the death. They have spoken to the occupants of the address as well as the dead man’s family.
