Further remand for ex-EQC staffer
Former EQC staff member Epenesa Valavala has been further remanded without plea on charges of misusing three of her employer’s cars and dishonestly using a fuel card.
Valavala, a 24-year-old Aranui woman, was granted a registrar’s remand without needing to appear before a judge at the Christchurch District Court.
She is next to appear at court on July 11.
Valavala, who no longer works for the Commission, faces charges of unlawfully converting three different cars to her own use, three of dishonestly using the fuel card, and one of causing a loss of $1034 to EQC by deception.
