Court House-Sept-2013-08Two men charged with pitch invasion at the opening game of the Cricket World Cup in Christchurch have been remanded without plea at the Christchurch District Court. Ephraim James McIntyre, 26, of Richmond, was remanded without plea to March 6 when he made a brief appearance before Judge Raoul Neave.

Joseph Brook, 22, entered no plea to the charge under the Major Events Management Act. The charges relate to the match between New Zealand and Sri Lanka at Hagley Oval on February 14, which was attended by a crowd of 17,500 people.
