Two men will go on trial for murder on February 25, 17 months after the death of Bradley Alan Lomax at Kaiapoi.
Kasha William Gosset, 36, a landscape gardener from Oxford, and Cody Derek Martin, a 31-year-old drainlayer from Mairehau in Christchurch, deny murdering Mr Lomax on September 4, 2017.
The date for the three-week trial was set at a pre-trial call-over in the High Court at Christchurch where the trial will take place.
Justice Cameron Mander further remanded the pair in custody after their appearances by video-link today.
Mr Lomax’s body was found beside the Waimakariri River north of Christchurch. Several members of the Rebels Motorcycle Club attended his funeral.
Gosset and Martin were arrested a week after his body was found.
