Pre-trial appearance in the High Court at Christchurch for Sainey Marong, 32, a butcher, of Ilam, who is charged with the murder of sex worker Renee Duckmanton, 22, whose body was found burning at the scene of a scrub fire on Main Rakaia Road, north of Rakaia, on May 15, 2016. Marong’s murder trial is set for three weeks beginning June 12, 2017.
