DESCRIPTION:The District Court has the sentencing at 11.45am for an unemployed\, 34-year-old Christchurch woman who has admitted stealing mail from rural mailboxes across Canterbury. She has interim name suppression while a psychiatric report is prepared. She pleaded guilty on February 22\, 2017\, and was remanded on bail for a pre-sentence report and possibly for a restorative justice meeting with dozens of her victims. She pleaded guilty to a charge of stealing mail items worth $623 in the month up to early October 2016. Most of the items were found unopened in her car and her home and were able to be delivered to their owners.\n\n \n\n
