High Court jury trials are usually scheduled for the two jury courts on level four of the Court House. District Court jury trials are held in the courts on level two.

Start of a murder trial in the High Court in Christchurch for Deborah Jean Tihema, 38, Cyle Robert Jetson, 20, and Moses Eli Hurrell, who was aged 16 at the time, charged with the murder of Pierclaudio Raviola, who was found injured in a carpark at Sumner. He died in hospital a few days later. Hurrell also denies a burglary charge.
