Addington murder trial set for September 22

September 22 has been set for the start of the trial of Peter David McKee for the alleged murder of Christopher John Hudson at an Addington flat last December.

The date was announced at a pre-trial callover session before Justice Graham Panckhurst in the High Court at Christchurch today.

The crown will call 36 witnesses in a trial that is expected to take more than a week.

McKee, a 35-year-old carpenter, remains in custody.
