Three men charged with stupefying or sex charges against a woman in April last year have been granted name suppression and remanded on bail at the Christchurch District Court.
A teenage rest home worker who posted a selfie on Instagram with an elderly woman patient on the toilet in the background has been granted suppression so that she can “move on”.
An 18-year-old rest home worker posted a selfie online of a 88-year-old woman resident on the toilet because she “wanted to share her love of work”.
The defence says it was a “bungled” attempt to help a friend with some software she needed. The police say it was a plan to secretly install a programme that would take intimate videos of her.
