Quote of the week: Headmaster’s office looms
“The headmaster’s office will be open in the New Year.” – District Court Judge John Strettell.
Judge Strettell has asked Christchurch lawyers to consider New Year resolutions to file their case management memorandums as required so that the system will work.
At the start of a case management session on December 10, he told the assembled lawyers that the required memorandums had been filed in only seven of the 14 cases to be called, and said that situation would not be allowed to continue in the New Year.
