The alleged driver of a car in a crash that caused the death of one, and injuries to two others, was further remanded without plea in the Christchurch District Court today.
Shu Na Lo, a 27-year-old from Melbourne, had been charged with careless driving causing death, and two charges of careless driving causing injury.
The head-on crash occurred on September 30 on the road between Geraldine and Fairlie.
Defence counsel Miranda Rout asked for the remand as she had not received sufficient forensic disclosure from the police for Lo to enter a plea.
The police said one person was still in hospital, and the police wanted to get victim impact statements from the injured people for the court.
Judge Gary MacAskill remanded Lo on bail to appear in court again on November 18.
