Court House-Sept-2013-08An arrest warrant has been issued for an Ohoka man charged with possession of a forged $100 banknote.

Jack Isaac Kitchingman, a 22-year-old labourer, had been granted a registrar’s remand without a court appearance at his first appearance on May 28.

He was remanded at large for an appearance in the Christchurch District Court yesterday, but counsel said there had been no contact and he had failed to respond to a letter.

Kitchingman was not at court and Judge Alistair Garland issued a warrant for his arrest.

The charge of knowingly possessing a forged $100 banknote alleges that the offence occurred at Kaiapoi on April 29.
