Custody remand for police pursuit accused
A 21-year-old has been remanded in custody after a police pursuit on Buckleys Road in Linwood, which ended after he was tracked by police dogs.
Dane Carr, a builder with no fixed abode, has been charged with driving dangerously, not stopping for police, drink-driving, driving while his licence was suspended, and resisting arrest.
Christchurch District Court Judge Brian Callaghan remanded Carr in custody to appear by video-link from the prison on July 9.
