Lyttelton Port Co sentencing for employee’s death

Sentencing is scheduled in the Christchurch District Court today for the Lyttelton Port Co which pleaded guilty on June 18, 2015, to a charge of failing to take all practicable steps to ensure the safety of an employee, Bradley Fletcher, while he was at work. Mr Fletcher, a 40-year-old father-of-three, was killed on August 28, 2014, when a Snorkel scissor lift toppled over at the port while he was driving it.
