High Court jury trials are usually scheduled for the two jury courts on level four of the Court House. District Court jury trials are held in the courts on level two.

High Court murder trial

Remand in custody for a High Court pre-trial callover to set a new date for the start of a two-week trial in the High Court for Zariah Jae Samson, aged 22, of Bryndwr, charged with the murder of a 30-year-old man from Ashburton, Cory James Protos, on April 26, 2014. The man’s body was found at a house in Bryndwr.
