High Court jury trials are usually scheduled for the two jury courts on level four of the Court House. District Court jury trials are held in the courts on level two.

Russell John Tully murder sentencing — delayed

April 15

[This sentencing has been delayed and no new date has been set.] Sentencing by Justice Cameron Mander at 10am in the High Court for 50-year-old Russell John Tully who was convicted of the shotgun murders of two WINZ staff members in Ashburton and the attempted murder of a third, in a Christchurch trial that began in February, at which the Crown called evidence from about 70 witnesses. Tully was found not guilty of the attempted murder of one woman he shot in the leg.
