High Court jury trials are usually scheduled for the two jury courts on level four of the Court House. District Court jury trials are held in the courts on level two.

Case review for Upper Riccarton murder case

October 23

Case review in the High Court for a 16-year-old charged with the murder of 87-year-old Harold Richardson, at his Upper Riccarton flat on the weekend of August 1-2, 2015. The accused, whose name suppression was continued in the High Court after an initial appearance in the Youth Court, has pleaded not guilty to murder. Jonathan Eaton QC is defence counsel.
