Court House-Sept-2013-06A Wainoni teenager has been remanded without plea on a charge of assault relating to a neighbourhood fracas on New Year’s Eve.

Connor Pattison, 19, is charged with assault with intent to injure involving a neighbour who ended up with stitches in a forehead wound and in his mouth, and a dislocated shoulder.

Pattison was granted a registrar’s remand without a court appearance at the Christchurch District Court. He was remanded on bail for a further appearance on January 30.

The neighbour alleges he was attacked by a child and two teenagers when problems arose while his family was letting off fireworks. When a 12-year-old next door began throwing apples and then sprayed the family with a garden hose, the neighbour went next door with his wife and father where he said they were attacked by two teenagers and the child.
